The Inn at Gristmill Square

Cleanse your soul in Bath County, Virginia. Check out this beautiful venue on their website: www.gristmillsquare.com.

Located in the heart of the picturesque village of Warm Springs in Bath County, Virginia, The Inn at Gristmill Square is a boutique inn that offers an escape from the rush and noise of everyday life. The Inn at Gristmill Square looks like a small 19th century colonial village, with lovingly-restored historic buildings and an elegant restaurant and pub housed in a converted mill. Welcome elements of the modern world intrude gently – each room has a private bath, satellite TV, private phone line, mini-fridge, and complimentary Wi-fi.

We are excited to announce the best specialty class ever! We have arranged a private class for our group only in the newly renovated Warm Springs Pools for a soak in the hot springs with soothing yoga nidra meditation designed to help you escape into bliss. This class is included in your class pass.

The United States Geological Survey has determined that these springs have a remarkably uniform rate of flow and temperature. Unaffected by changes of the seasons, the waters remain at a natural body temperature all year and flow at the astounding rate of 1,700,000 gallons per day. The waters have an unusually high level of mineral content and are so crystal clear a book can easily be read through them.

The original octagonal stone basin that held the water for bathing was built in 1761, establishing it as the first spa structure in America. Originally known as the Warm Springs Bath or the Great Bath, it was not covered by a bath house until the mid-1820s, at which point it was covered by a new octagonal frame building.
