Retreat Coordinator, Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT® 500, YACEP), Certified Level 2 Lagree Trainer, Certified Suspension Teacher, YACEP, Certified Acro Yoga Instructor. She is a Yoga Alliance qualified Lead Trainer for the RYS 200 & trainer for the 300 Yoga Power School.

Lindsay began doing yoga at home with YouTube videos but quickly fell out of it when she had no accountability. After taking her first yoga class, she fell in love with the community she found. After sticking to yoga classes for over a year now, Lindsay feels like she has found a whole new person inside that she's slowly unlocking.

She was a classroom teacher for 10 years and is an avid horse rider. Lindsay combined her love for yoga with her career by introducing her students to pranayama and asana techniques to calm their bodies and minds. She is a graduate of the 200 and 300 hour teacher training from the Yoga Power School Class of 2019 -20. 

Lindsay currently works as an Independent Educational Consultant at Jamie Dickenson, LLC in Charleston where she specializes in working with students in grades K-7.  She dedicates her time to educating students of all ages in yoga and loves to see when students "get it".

  • Lagree - All Levels
  • The Lagree Method is a high intensity, low impact workout that targets all major muscle groups through slow, controlled movements. Its unique combination of strength, endurance, and flexibility training has made it one of the most popular fitness regimens in the world.
     
     
    All Lagree classes have a minimum age limit of 16.
     
    Lagree is taught on either:
    (1) an elevated M3 MegaFormer loaded with an 6 spring system or
    (2) on MicroFormers which lay flat on the floor. We offer the same challenging exercises on both machines.

  • Lagree - Beginner

  • Yoga - Next Level
  • Next Level Yoga classes are for clients who feel comfortable with their yoga practice. Instructors may teach all poses at any pace.

  • INFRARED Power Yoga
  • This class is offered in infrared heat. Arrive 15 minutes early to secure your spot on the floor. Heat is determined by how close to the infrared bulbs you position your mat.

  • Event - Halloween AcroBash
  • You're Invited to the Halloween AcroBash with Lindsay Heywood (eRYT 500)!

    Join us for a spook-tacular evening of acro fun, creativity, and connection! This playful class will explore exciting poses while encouraging trust and collaboration in a child-like atmosphere. Costumes are highly encouraged—so bring your most festive attire!

    What to Expect:

    - A dynamic and engaging acro session led by the talented Lindsay Heywood.
    - Opportunities to connect and learn with others in a supportive environment.
    - A complimentary glass of wine to keep the spirits high!

     
    Fee is $25 per person. Must be 21 to consume alcohol.

  • Cats & Mats: Wizarding Weekend

    Join us for a purr-fectly peaceful morning of yoga and feline fun at Cups and Cats Café, located at 187 Summers Street, Charleston, WV 25301, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

    This beginner-friendly yoga class, led by instructors from Yoga Power LLC, is designed for all levels—whether you’re new to yoga or just looking for a unique way to unwind. You’ll be stretching and flowing in the cozy company of adoptable cats from the café, adding a little extra joy (and maybe a paw on your mat) to your practice.

    Important Details:

    • Class size is limited to 20 participants—reserve your spot early, as this event will sell out!
    • Fee is $25
    • Please bring your own yoga mat. ‍️
    • Arrive by 8:45 AM to fill out a short waiver, get comfortable, and grab a coffee or tea from the café before class begins. ️
    • For everyone’s safety and comfort, please leave bags, loose items, or tempting objects outside the yoga area—cats are curious and unpredictable! ‍

    Remember, the safety and care of the cats is our top priority. Negative behavior toward the animals will not be tolerated!

    Cat adoptions are available! If one of the kitties steals your heart, speak directly with the Cups and Cats Café staff to learn more about the adoption process. If you adopt a cat the day of the event, Yoga Power will give you a 5 class pass - valued at $100!!
